Depart from Palm Beach, cruise past Barrenjoey and out through Broken Bay, then spend time offshore watching for migrating whales in open water.

A private Whale Watching experience, shaped around your group

This is not a crowded public whale watching boat. Your charter is private to your group, with the route and timing planned around the conditions on the day.

When conditions suit, the charter can combine whale watching offshore with time in the calmer waters of Pittwater, Broken Bay or nearby sheltered anchorages.

The experience is flexible, relaxed and fully skippered, with crew managing the vessel while you enjoy the day.

Per hour prices:

1–6 guests — $550/hr

7–10 guests — $650/hr

Standard 3 hour experience:

1–6 guests — $1,650

7–10 guests — $1,950

Duration:

A standard whale watching charter is 3 hours however for more time to explore the surrounding region and stop for lunch in a quiet bay we recommend a 4.5 hour duration.

The vessel

Tabasco is a spacious sailing catamaran with indoor and outdoor areas, wide deck space and a stable layout well suited to time on the water.

For whale watching, charters are limited to 10 guests plus crew.
