Leave Rose Bay by seaplane, fly above Sydney Harbour and follow the Northern Beaches coastline to Palm Beach. After landing on the water, transfer to your own private sailing catamaran for an unforgettable charter through Pittwater and Broken Bay.

Depart Rose Bay by seaplane.
Enjoy an approximately 15-minute flight above Sydney Harbour and north along the coast.
Land at Palm Beach and transfer to your private yacht.
Sail, swim and enjoy lunch or drinks on board.
Return to Sydney by private car.
This is the most popular arrangement, but it is not a fixed itinerary. A return seaplane, alternative pickup, longer charter, overnight stay, catering or accommodation can be arranged around your group and the operator’s schedule.
The flight
Flight time is typically 15–30 minutes, depending on the operator and route selected. The direct flight travels from Rose Bay along Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Palm Beach, while longer scenic options may include additional Sydney Harbour views.
The flight component typically starts from around $460 per person one way, based on current operator pricing.
Most Sail & Fly bookings suit up to six guests. Final capacity depends on aircraft availability and total passenger weights; a larger aircraft may be possible for some groups and will be confirmed individually.
Your private yacht charter
After landing at Palm Beach, a tender will collect you and your guests and take you to Tabasco, our spacious Seawind 1160 sailing catamaran. With a qualified skipper looking after the sailing, the day can be shaped around your group and the conditions.
Explore the open waters of Broken Bay and the more sheltered bays of Pittwater, framed by Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Brisbane Water National Park. Spend the charter sailing, anchor in a secluded bay for a swim, enjoy lunch and drinks on deck, or simply relax and take in the coastline. Wildlife sightings, including local seals and dolphins, are sometimes possible but never guaranteed.
Choose your time on the water
3 hours — $1,800: the minimum charter, ideal for a focused sail with time to anchor or swim. (1-6 guests)
4.5 hours — $2,700: our recommended option, allowing a relaxed sail plus a proper swimming and lunch stop. (1-6 guests)
5.5 hours — $3,300: an extended charter which, together with the Rose Bay departure, flight and return arrangements, becomes a full-day experience. (1-6 guests)

As a guide, a one-way seaplane flight typically starts from around $460 per person, with the yacht charter priced according to the duration selected above.
For example, a four-person experience with the recommended 4.5-hour charter would start from approximately $4,540, before return transport, catering or accommodation.
